Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making your reservation. By completing payment for an Iwanai Resort Snow CAT Tour, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
CAT TERMS & CONDITIONS
We recommend that all guests purchase trip cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen issues such as injury, illness, travel disruptions, severe weather, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
While we strive to deliver the best skiing experience each day, we cannot guarantee untracked powder snow. We simply serve as a means of transportation into our terrain. Choosing to opt out of a CAT tour due to unsatisfactory conditions will NOT result in a refund.
Please note that we do not offer refunds for Snow CAT Tours affected by weather-related conditions.
Refund policies for CAT tour cancellations initiated by the guest are as follows:
Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the event are eligible for a 100% refund.
Cancellations made 14 to 29 days prior to the event receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.
All refunded cancellations made by credit card are subject to a non-refundable processing fee of 3.6%. All refunds made by bank transfer will be subject to deduction of applicable bank and currency conversion fees. Our refunds do not cover losses resulting from currency exchange fluctuations or fees imposed by banks or credit card companies.
Participants may sell or transfer their reservation to another person if they are unable to attend. Iwanai Resort must be notified of the new participant in advance.
Rescheduling requests made after October 31st will incur a ¥10,000 fee per seat.
Reservations are confirmed only upon full payment and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
When booking a Private CAT, payment must be made by one person only.
All purchases and refunds are calculated and processed in Japanese Yen (JPY). We do not accept payments in any other currencies.
Vouchers are non-transferable and may only be redeemed by the named recipient. They are valid for one year from the date of your reservation.
Cancellations and refunds for ski rentals are governed by separate Terms & Conditions.
All participants must read and sign our liability waiver before joining the tour. Failure to do so will result in cancellation without a refund.
Minors under 18 require a parent or guardian to sign the liability waiver and accompany them. Participants under 13 may be refused participation in Mixed-Group CAT Tours.
We rely on guests to provide an honest assessment of their skiing or snowboarding ability. If your skills do not meet the tour requirements, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, guides may ask you to return to the lodge, and no refund will be issued.
All participants must wear a helmet while engaging in downhill activities.
Guests suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or whose health condition may compromise their safety or that of others, may be asked to return to the lodge. No refund will be issued.
Late arrivals may miss the morning session to avoid disrupting the schedule for other guests. Subject to operational conditions.
Participants requiring pickup from Niseko must confirm their accommodation details at least one week in advance. Failure to provide this information will void the option of a transfer.
If participants are not ready at the designated pickup time, they may be left behind and will be responsible for arranging their own transportation.
