Planning an epic day on the CAT?
If you have your own vehicle, we recommend driving to Iwanai for maximum flexibility, plus the opportunity to explore the area’s local hot springs, restaurants, and sushi.
For guests visiting from Niseko, we offer a complimentary shuttle with morning pick-up and evening drop-off from Kutchan, Hanazono, Hirafu, and Niseko Village.
Please submit your shuttle request and accommodation details at least one week before your visit. We’ll contact you the day before your CAT to confirm your pick-up location and exact departure time.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM NISEKO
Driving from Hirafu
From Hirafu, drive toward Kutchan and take Highway 5 North toward Otaru. After crossing the mountain pass, turn left onto Highway 276 West toward Iwanai.
Continue into Iwanai and follow the signs toward Iwanai Resort / the mountain. The drive takes approximately 50 minutes.
Please park in the designated parking area and do not drive directly to the lodge.
